St. Cloud, MN – The complete schedule for the St. Cloud State University men’s hockey 2022-23 season has finally been revealed and it has a great deal of similarity to the 2021-22 season.

The SCSU coaching staff has made a concerted effort to schedule regional non-conference rivalries and much like last season it includes the University of St. Thomas, University of Wisconsin, Minnesota State University, Mankato, Bemidji State University, and the University of Minnesota.

The conference schedule this season does not include a trip to Western Michigan and the Huskies will not host Omaha in St. Cloud.

The month of October will be very busy with eight non-conference contests evenly split between home and away games. The Huskies begin the season on the road on October 1 against the University of St. Thomas as the Tommies enter their second season of Division I play. The weekend finale will be in St. Cloud at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. A road trip to Madison, WI will have SCSU facing the University of Wisconsin Badgers at the Kohl Center for the first time since March of 2013. The Huskies then host Frozen Four finalist Minnesota State University, Mankato the following weekend before wrapping up the month of October with a home and home with Bemidji State University.

November has the Huskies making two trips to Colorado for conference games with Denver University and Colorado College. Sandwiched between these trips is a home series with Western Michigan University.

December is a light month with only four games. The Huskies host the University of North Dakota on December 2/3 and the following weekend travel to Miami University.

The Huskies have one home series in February vs Miami University followed by road trips to the University of North Dakota and Omaha.

The final conference series of the 2022-23 season will have the Huskies hosting the University of Minnesota, Duluth Bulldogs at the HBNHC on March 3/4.
