Robby Jackson Signs American Hockey League Contract

St. Cloud, MN – It’s been a busy week for the St. Cloud State hockey program. On April 5th, the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League have reported they have signed senior forward Robby Jackson to an ATO (Amateur Tryout Contract). Jackson, who just completed his eligibility at St. Cloud State was part of an extraordinary 2015-16 recruiting class that has seen seven of it’s players sign professional contracts.

Jackson, a native of Alameda, CA  had an exemplary career at St. Cloud State playing in 149 games and compiling 52 goals and 69 assists for 121 points and a +46 plus/minus rating. Jackson finishes his career at St. Cloud State  tied for 18th on the all-time scoring list with Nic Dowd, currently with the Washington Capitals of the NHL. He also finished one point ahead of teammate Patrick Newell who was recently signed by the New York Rangers organization.
